Purpose
To enable Argentine faculty at selected English Teacher Training colleges, and U.S. teachers of Spanish to exchange their jobs for one semester so that all participants, Argentine and American, can have direct exposure to the language and culture they teach.

Specific Eligibility Criteria
In addition to the general requirements, Argentine candidates for Teacher Exchange Awards must obtain leave of absence with pay from school authorities. Applicants must have at least three years of teaching experience after graduation.

Process
This program is not open to individual applicants in Argentina. Every year, the Fulbright Commission will invite a limited number of English Teacher Training colleges in Argentina to nominate qualified faculty and host their selected U.S. counterparts for one semester. Participating Institutions will remain in the program for approximately four consecutive years.

Duration
One semester.

Deadline
Applications must be submitted by September 29th every year. Check the calendar at Fulbright’s website.
Candidates may request applications from their home institutions.


Administrator Exchange Program >>Top

Purpose
Support the training and exchange of knowledge between Argentine and U.S. School Administrators through internships at primary and secondary schools in both countries.

Specific Eligibility Criteria
In addition to the general requirements, candidates must have considerable experience as School Principals. Good command of English is also recommended. Grantees are not allowed to have accompanying dependents during the three-week period of this exchange

Process
Awards are not open to individual applicants in Argentina.
Every year, the Fulbright Commission will decide on and announce the method for selecting Argentine participants.

Funding
This program is cost-shared by the Bunge y Born Foundation.

Duration
Three weeks.

Deadline
Applications must be submitted by May 14th every year.
