Purpose
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program offers grants
to mid-career professionals for one year of non-degree
study and professional internships in the United States.
Fellowships are granted competitively to candidates
from both private and public sectors with a commitment
to public service in fields such as:
- Agricultural and Rural Development
- Communications/Journalism
- Economic Development
- Finance and Banking
- Higher Educational Administration, Planning and
Policy
- HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention
- Human Resource Management
- Law and Human Rights
- Natural Resources/Environmental Policy/Climate
Change
- Public Health Policy and Management
- Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration
- Technology Policy and Management
- Trafficking in Persons, Policy and Prevention
- Urban and Regional Planning
- Substance Abuse Education
(candidates in this field must have a research background
in the field or demonstrate an ability to learn
the results and policy implications of current research)
Specific Eligibility Criteria
- University degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of job experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Excellent professional background
- A minimum of 525 (paper- based) or 195 (computer-based)
TOEFL score.

Benefits
Tuition and fees, monthly stipend, health insurance,
book stipend, roundtrip ticket, and special allowance
for grant-related activities.
