Purpose
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program offers grants
to mid-career professionals for one year of non-degree
study and professional internships in the United States.
Fellowships are granted competitively to candidates
from both private and public sectors with a commitment
to public service in fields such as:
- Agricultural development
- Economic development
- Law and human rights
- Technology policy and management
- Urban and regional planning
- Journalism and communication
- Natural resources and environmental management
- Human resource management
- Public policy analysis and administration
- Finance and banking
- Teaching of English as a foreign language
- Education
- Drug abuse education, treatment, and prevention
- HIV/AIDS policy, prevention, and treatment
- Public health policy and management
- Public policy analysis and public administration
- Nonproliferation studies
Specific Eligibility Criteria
- University degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of job experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Excellent professional background
- A minimum of 525 (paper- based) or 195 (computer-based)
TOEFL score.

test).
Benefits
Tuition and fees, monthly stipend, health insurance,
book stipend, roundtrip ticket, and special allowance
for grant-related activities.
Deadline
August 31 every year.
Awards will be announced at section "nominated
grantees"by the end of October.
